This Privacy Policy explains how The Art of Color - Color by number, provided by Apps & Devs S.R.L. (“we”, “us”), handles information when you use the Android application. It describes version 1.0.0 and its current features.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
The provider is Apps & Devs S.R.L. For privacy questions or requests, contact office@appsdevs.ro and mention “The Art of Color”. Our website is appsdevs.ro.
This policy applies to The Art of Color, not automatically to every application we may publish. Each application’s policy is listed in our app privacy directory.
2. Coloring, gallery and information kept on your device
The illustrations, color palettes and ambient sounds are bundled with the app. Coloring works offline and does not require an account with us.
- Progress and gallery: the areas you have colored, your favorites, the last opened illustration and your sound preference are saved locally in the app’s preferences on your device.
- Artist name: the profile lets you change the displayed name (by default “Artist”, up to 24 characters). It is stored only on your device and is not sent to us. You do not need to enter your real name.
- Search: text typed in the catalog search filters the bundled illustrations on the device and is not saved or uploaded.
- Exporting and sharing: when you choose to share a finished picture, the app creates a PNG image of the illustration and opens Android’s share sheet. The image goes only to the app or contact you select, which then handles it under its own privacy rules.
We do not upload your drawings, progress, artist name or gallery to an Apps & Devs server, and the app has no cloud synchronization.
3. Google AdMob advertising
The Art of Color shows banner ads and occasional full-screen (interstitial) ads through the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Interstitials are limited so they do not appear more often than once every two minutes.
Google’s SDK can collect and share the device’s IP address, advertising or other device identifiers, ad/app interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. An IP address may be used to infer an approximate location. These data support advertising, measurement and fraud prevention; processing depends on the SDK, available identifiers, settings and applicable consent choices.
We do not supply your drawings, artist name or gallery to advertising providers.
The app integrates Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request advertising privacy choices where required, for example in the EU/EEA and the UK. When a consent form is shown, it describes the available purposes and choices. Android settings also let you manage or delete your advertising ID; this is separate from the choices in a consent form. Contact us if you need help with privacy choices.
Read Google’s Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from partner apps, and Google Mobile Ads data disclosures for details.
4. Device access
Internet and network-state access are used by the advertising SDK. The advertising SDK also includes permissions for the advertising identifier and Android ad services, and may use background-work permissions for its own tasks. The app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photo library, files or location.
5. Retention and deletion
Your progress, favorites, artist name and preferences remain on the device until you change them or remove them through Android’s app storage controls. Clearing app storage deletes them permanently, including unfinished drawings; uninstalling normally removes local app data, subject to Android backup and restore settings. Advertising components may separately keep SDK settings and consent information on the device.
Images you have already shared remain with the recipients or apps you chose and are not deleted by clearing the app.
Google determines retention of advertising data as described in its policies, including Google’s retention information. We do not maintain a copy of Google’s individual advertising records.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use that correspondence to respond and retain it for handling the request and any applicable legal obligations. You can ask us to delete correspondence we hold, subject to those obligations.
6. Security and data transfers
Google states that its Mobile Ads SDK encrypts collected data in transit using TLS. Your coloring data stays on the device and is protected by Android’s app sandbox. No internet transmission or device storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
Google may process advertising information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Its published policies explain the safeguards and processing locations applicable to its services.
7. Purposes, choices and privacy rights
We process information to provide the coloring features you use and to respond to support inquiries. Where EU/EEA data-protection law applies, the relevant bases may include providing the requested service, legitimate interests in support and security, and consent for advertising processing where required. Google describes its own purposes and legal bases in its privacy notices.
Depending on the law that applies and the information we hold, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent for future processing. Write to office@appsdevs.ro. We may need proportionate information to verify a request, and cannot delete records held solely by Google.
You can also complain to your local data-protection authority. In Romania, this is the ANSPDCP. The Art of Color has no developer-hosted user accounts to delete.
8. Children and changes to this policy
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the request and address information within our control.
We will update this page when the app’s data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. New permissions, integrations, purchases or account features may require additional disclosures before release.
